Well, took the Town and Country in for a service today. The water pump failed on our new Van. Anyhow, while getting the work done at a dealership (600 miles from home while on vacation btw) I started to talk to the sales guys.
Turns out they had 3 EcoDiesel 1500's on the lot. Two of them were the quad cab versions (not interested) and they had one 2wd crew cab. Had cloth seats and power options. Uconnect, back up camera, and integrated brake controller. No fancy frills but not to shabby.
I didn't get to do the test drive but I did get some pics of the truck and a video of start up and the salesman going over some features.

Diesel and DEF fill...the plug...only a plug for diesel...is this how they do things in the diesel world?
And the all important payload sticker. Funny, I was expecting 800 lbs.
And of course the all important....emblem
This one has 3.55 rear axle ratio so I think it's rated around 7800 lbs towing.
So, decent payload, good power, excellent MPG...decent price. With my work discount I should be around 36k OTD on a model similar to this. The sticker was a few bucks over 40k. No too bad.
