According to the Ram website, a 2013 Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab has a GVWR of 6800#. The F-150 in my sig has a GVWR of 7700#, and the HD option kicks it up to 8200#.

That's a huge difference, and was the reason I opted for the Ford. I like the Ram better in most other aspects, but it just doesn't have the payload.
