Since you won't be towing every day of the week, you have to look at how you will normally be using the truck. If you drive a lot of miles, then the diesel deserves serious consideration.
I had a 2019 Ram with the hemi to drive for a couple of days while my truck was in the shop. Based on the lie-o-meter MPG display, it was actually getting worse MPG than my 2500 4x4 with a diesel. My wife's Durango also has the Hemi, and gas mileage is poor in town, OK on the highway.
Either engine will pull your trailer fine. Spend the money to get the upgraded UConnect4 stereo if it's an option. Awesome stereo.
Rams used to be junkers years ago, but they have been getting better year by year. I think they are probably at the top of the 1500 pile now, and this is coming from a ex Ford salesman and a recent convert
