Ram 1500 with 3.0 diesel
Continuing my research for a possible new(er) TV. Anyone own/towing with the Ram 1500 with the 3.0 diesel? Might be to small for my towing needs, but something to think about. Thanks,

I agree with most of your points except this. Forced induction is what makes an engine perform well at high elevation, not fuel type. Turbocharged gas engines perform well at high elevation, and normally aspirated diesels (of which there are very few) chug out black smoke and struggle when the air gets thin. It was more common to see this when there were still a lot of the old 6.2 GM and Ford pre-Powerstroke diesel pickups on the road.
