One huge reason not to buy the Ram, Bosch CP4 fuel system. GM dropped that system in 2017, Ford will have a new fuel system for 2020.

I love my 2015 CTD but I'd buy a Duramax of the 2019 offerings. If Ford actually drops the CP4 I'd put them on the list too although the way they warrantied their grenade fuel pumps over the years compared to GM would still give me pause.
