RAM 2500 6.4 Hemi 3.73 gears, Looking for Opinions

I am looking for opinions on this truck as a new tow vehicle, and what gears to got. Also looking at Ford and Chevy 3/4 tons. This will be a daily driver, with a short 10 minute commute. My driving...

My trailer is actually slightly less weight then yours, and I am using a 2015 2500GMC w/4:10's with a 10 minute commute I do not think you would see much of a savings either way. And for cylinder deactivation I do not know if you would really see that kicking in much in that short of a drive, but then I do not know for sure on that matter.
