I run two sets of wheels and tires also to avoid chaining up. Steering drift is a known issue on some of the solid front axle trucks though.
I'd take it to a well known front end shop 1st to check the camber etc.
Nitto's are nice for winter but they will burn out pretty fast in summer heat while towing.
