The Cummins oil change interval isn't 15k miles, it's the sooner of 15k miles, 500 hours or 6 months. In my case the trigger is the 6 month mark.
But take heart. If you use subscribe and save on Amazon, you can pick up Rotella T6 for about $18/gallon. Throw in the filter and a full synthetic oil change will run you about $65.
