Now that winter's properly arrived I'm noticing that the heat in my 2017 2500 isn't that powerful. It takes a good 20 minutes to heat up the cabin into the 70s. It can't compete with any windows being open even partially.
Anyone else noticed the same? I have the super basic work truck heat, single zone with three speed fan.
I can start my truck, turn on the exhaust brake, and my truck is toasty in 5 minutes. But that is diesel; I would think your truck should heat right up itself in about 5 minutes. But with that being said, when in the heat position- pointing right at you- I don't get that much of an air flow. In other words, my heater doesn't blow very hard. I'm wondering if it's because the vents in the backseat of the cab are on, and it's such a large cab. Do you have that problem? Somethin' ain't right if you're not heating up.
