My '04.5 Dodge stickered of just under 41k new,ordered. A '15 truck with like equipment would probable be 55+K. The engine has only gone up 3k or so. That is less than 300. per year,so where is the rest of the cost. Oh yes, it is in a lot of uneeded to me electronics in the dash. Guess I will still drive my old truck for awhile longer. Everything on it still works just like new. And it has been payed for for a long time. Fuel prices have varied from less than $2. a gal. to over $5. in the time of ownership. Maintenance and repair cost have been minimal. The truck has 172K+ on it now and I am not worried one bit to take it on a cross country trip again like I did this summer. Everyone buy what pleases you all. I do.
