If I'm correct the 2008-2010 F450s were significantly "beefier" than the same vintage F350 but since 2011, as mentioned, the F450 is much closer in spec & capability to the F350.
Can't wait to read the article. I don't take magazine tests as gospel but I do find them very interesting.
I used to have an '09 F350 and now have an '11 F450. Yes, the '08-'10 trucks were "beefier" and you could indeed put more weight in the bed. But when it comes to putting a load behind the truck, the newer 450s with the 6.7 will out pull an '08-'10 any day of the week.
This is gonna be a fun test to read about. I can't wait to hear all the bickering on rv.net when its complete though. No matter which side wins. :B
