Those numbers are right off of each manufacturers website.  I wasn't quoting 
MAX payload numbers, I was quoting them both 
as equipped for the test.  As you see, I was talking about a 4 door cab, 4x4, 8' bed, etc. for the F450.  According to Ford, an F450 equipped like that has the payload number I typed above.
If I was quoting max numbers, the RAM 3500 max tow rating (for example) is over 30,000#.  This truck as equipped is only :W 29,130#
