We had an F150 supercrew and the back seat area was huge. My guess is that Ford thinks more families buy F150's as people movers more than for hauling.
F150 interloper her dreaming about a "real truck" someday, but wanted to comment. Big back seat room was a huge decision point for us when we bought our F150 SuperCrew. We have a very leggy Greyhound we camp with and the rear seats fold up leaving a huge area to put a full size dog bed down on the floor for her. She loves it. I would definitely give the MegaCab a look if we upgraded to a 2500/3500 truck someday.
