Why in the hell didn't someone slap the snot out of me for buying a dodge. If this is the kind of customer service dodge provides, it will surely be the last one I buy.
Would it have been better to give you an adapter that may have had an engineering defect? Believe it or not, this is "good customer service".
The Big Three for too long have been accused of treating "first year of new model" customers as test subjects. That's why everyone says "wait for the second year, when they've worked the bugs out".
Granted, having to wait for an adapter that you may need sux...but getting an adapter with a problem would be far worse IMHO.
