..Agree Rick, never should have happened...bunch of dummies...BUT, they are out there now, I was a VERY squeaky wheel....raised enough cane with my dealership to where the owner intervened with his Chrysler rep over it...Got a "history" with my dealer, since I purchased my first 97' Grand Cherokee Limited from them in Feb of 97', this 2013 truck made the 73rd vehicle purchased at this dealership by either, me, my wife, daughter, son in law, son, daughter in law, other son, daughter in law and other friends and family members I've sent them over the years..SOOOO, though I ended up paying 'cost' on the adapter picture frame, I was given a 7yr, 100,000 miles warranty with -zero- deductible on my new "retirement" truck by Chrsyler!!. Again, probably because of the "history" I have with my dealership, but that is a $3400-$3600 extended warranty....made me happy....
I would push them working a deal with you on the adapter, at least one person stated he was given the adapter....I'm not going to knock paying $400 for mine when they gave me the extended warranty...hey, guess I'll have to keep this truck, (that was the plan back in Dec:))
