if your going to keep it resale means nothing!! You can also buy alot of gas for the 10k upgrade. That is why after 3 diesels in a row I chose gas this time.
I know a lot of people who have gone back to gas. The new gas motors are strong and reliable. Diesels are great until you have a problem then it can get expensive in a hurry if your warranty has expired. If a person is hauling a truck camper then a gas dually would give you more payload, performance should be more then enough.
