HP and torque are only part of the equation. I can put a cheap tranny in a 600 HP 1,500 LB dragster and it will work just fine for years. If I put that same tranny in a 600 HP 3,500 LB door slammer and it will oil down the track the first pass.
The same thing with car and truck tranny's. There is a BIG difference between a 3,500 LB car and a 20,000 LB truck and trailer!
