Ram air suspension

I have not seen any owner comments on the air suspension systems offered on the Ram trucks. If you have one would you care to share your experience and whether they are worth the money?

I might suggest you go to a Ram forum and inquire there, you are likely to get more relevant information. From what I have read, people LOVE them. You get the much smoother ride when empty and an automatically firmer ride as you add weight. I'm curious to see how it works long term, personally.

I'm sure Fishie will come along and tell you his thoughts on the matter though...

My thoughts are its an overpriced option, that you have no control over the air pressure. IMO you can accomplish the same thing, and more with aftermarket air at half the price. If you want it to be automatic ,then you can still go to aftermarket with automatic leveling. There is nothing magic or better with factory air, just more money. Plus you subject to all the electronics it has with factory air. IMO aftermarket is a much simpler setup.

Its pretty simple, factory air ,you have no control, after market you control whatever air you want ,and how level etc.

As always its your money spend it how you want, if you don't want to mess with installing aftermarket, add the factory option.
