Not mad at you, but a bit upset with the way you worded your post...maybe I took it the wrong way, ...but I don't think so..seemed like you had an agenda against the Aisin for no real reason..seemed to me,just because you don't like them or have no use for them
I feel sorry for you that you feel that way. Although this is a pros and cons versus debate on the Aisin and 68RFE. Both have their positives and negatives. I have said that one of the negatives of the 68RFE is that it is not for heavy towing which is why I stated in an earlier post that if I did had the need to tow heavy. There are others who have stated some cons about the Aisin in this thread as well so why are you just getting mad at me?

...I never said anything about the Aisin never breaking down...but having owned cars and trucks since 1967...I've come to find this happens to a whole lot of different brands out there...ie, break down...no big deal...part of life, whether we like it or not...
I never said you did say anything about the Aisin never breaking down. However, someone in here has which is why I posted that they do break down in the medium duty trucks that we sell and have a normal failure rate just like any of our other medium duty transmission options.

I don't care if you drive a DRW truck or not, AGAIN, the way YOU worded that part of your post, you made it perfectly clear, you would tow less before you'd EVER own a dually...as though they're not worth owning...
No, my exact words were " Although I can't stand driving DRW trucks and would rather lower the amount of weight I need to tow than to buy one." I stated my preference in rather lowering the amount I tow than to own a DRW truck. Am I not allowed to have that preference for myself? Did I chastise anyone for owning a DRW truck or say that others should lower the amount they tow? No.....A DRW truck is not worth owning for my wants, but I never said anything about them not being worth owning for anyone else. I am not sure how you are reading it that way.

the way you presented your text, in my really dumb opinion, left some to be desired...more about...negative, don't like, don't need, don't want...no way, no how and a Dually is taboo....Your opinions, and I stated my opinion on your opinion....nothing more....nothing less.
Correct, and I am responding to your opinion you stated about you not liking my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. I can't see why you are getting so mad about me not wanting a DRW truck.
