I had a round about conversation with the service guy at the dealership. The manual states 15,000 mile. The dealer said every other oil change which at the recommended oil change of 7500 then yes that would be 15,000. So the catch all is in real life the oil changes are more like 3-4000. So that would be every 6-8000 miles. A far cry from the 15,000 the manual and dealer think.
I couldn't get it thru the dealers head that why would I change it every 6-8000 when the manual say 15,000. He just kept coming back with every other oil change.
I do it at 10,000.
