I bought my '03 Dodge/Cummins HO HPCR in my sig new in 1-'03. I change the fuel filter every 20k miles with a 13 dollar premium 7 micron Fleetguard fuel filter from Genos or my local Cummins dealer for 16 bucks. Its done easily with no mess from under the hood in 5-6 min.
With 230k+ miles on the odo and a oil analysis done every 50k and 7.5k/15k mile oil/filter changes everything is normal.
At one time my Dodge truck dealer gave 19.95 dollar fuel filter changes using Mopar fuel filters for the Cummins but some time in the mid '00s raised prices to match other area Dodge truck dealer prices.
