The new diesels are too expensive to fix for due to lack of maintenance. If the fuel filter is too expensive to replace at the recommended intervals that truck may not be for you. Injectors are a costly replacement and a good fuel filter is cheap insurance. Mine gets replaced at 10k miles. When camping sometime diesel fuel comes from questionable places.
