Good grief 900 ft lbs. I made a living with the old 5.9 at 400 ft lbs pulling 25k-28k combined.
Hmmm.. a 11.8" rear axle ?? Is that a typo ??
Ram was using the AAM 11.5" rear axle however at 9700-9800 RAWR it was getting closer to AAM max. Wonder what the 11.8" axle is or when did they change ??
Truck makers know how much their average commercial customer pulls with these trucks and how much load they carry.
Good for Ram for moving factory OEM numbers closer to what is actually used out here.
