They blipped the ign timing much like they do with drag bikes when they shift without a clutch.(Don't even ask me how I remember that stupid fact.)
On a personal note I hate throttle by wire. I hate the way it feels and responds. If I get a few bucks up I may buy a tuner and ramp it up a bit so it's not so laggy.
Any of you truck drivers out there know the term "barber pole" and how it relates to 900 or more Ft/LBS of torque? :B
