They are keeping it, but yes it's at 660lb/ft.
That's what my truck is rated at but it pulls extremely well. It pulls our new to us 15,500 lb fifth wheel much better than our 6.0L Ford pulled our former 12,000 lb fifth wheel. In my experience, manual transmissions are typically much better at putting power to the ground than autos so the difference between the manual and auto Rams isn't as much as one might think.
The Cummins/manual transmission combo is a match made in heaven!
