I have never owned a Dodge, but the new trucks are really nice. My Excursion was my first Ford and it has been fantastic. I just put almost $1,900 into it for an injector, hub assembly, and EGR, turning the rotors, and inspection, but it has almost 175k miles so I really don't have much to complain about.
If I was to buy a new truck today I would be very torn between the Ford and Dodge (having owned many GM's in the past and not been thrilled, they are not on my short list). I like the exterior looks of both trucks but the Ford has better mirrors (the best in the business imho). Both interiors are nice, but the Dodge is a bit nicer.....the mega cab option definitely gives it the nudge. Both trucks have awesome power trains, so I'd have to really dive into Google to see which appears more reliable. Like someone else said, it wouldn't be an easy task picking one!
