I realize many people are Ram fans on account of the Cummins. If the pickup trucks were like highway tractors in that you could spec whatever powerplant you wanted in your truck and I was buying a new Ram, I might choose a 6,7 Powestroke over the Cummins ... Anyway the Cummins wouldn't be just my automatic first choice.
I would take the Cummins with The Bosch CP3 pump any day over the other two with CP4.2's! And I would never buy a truck that needs the cab removed to service the engine!

I have no trouble coming up with reasons to choose one truck over another but I certainly wouldn't be putting much wright on things that are very unlikely to ever happen ie removing cab for service or replacing a cp4.2 pump. We have 600 diesel engine years of experience and have only ever replaced 1 injection pump ... It happened to be on a 1999 Ram Cummins. The internet horror stories happen to one person in 10,000 and then get posted and referred to 10,000 times.
