I do not care what lift or pusher pump feeds a CP4.2, I would not own a diesel truck with this injection pump. When the CP4.2 eats its self up, every component it the fuel system has to be replaced.
When my VP-44 got dead pedal and PO216 codes, I replaced the pump myself for $1046. Chris
A friend that I bought my 98 from has a 01 with over 200K and has never replaced his lift or injection pump. I tell him at least he should check his fuel pressure. He just laughs at me and it just keeps going!
