You're right, the F650/750 does have the Cummins 6.7 and not the Powerstroke. The Cummins has a commercial duty longevity rating close to twice that of the Powerstroke and Duramax. However, the Ford version of the Cummins is detuned considerably, with the highest power rating being 360 hp, and that's available only in emergency vehicles. The lower power rating is to preserve longevity. I do wonder why Ford doesn't use a detuned Powerstroke in its larger trucks. I imagine it would still have a shorter design life.
If I were shopping for a heavy duty pickup (which is an oxymoron) if I were hotshotting and running millions of miles I'd buy a Ram or Dodge or whatever they are calling them this week. For personal use I really don't know. You could buy on appearance alone and probably be happy with any of the 3.
