Some of the 14 3500's DO have the Aisin tranny's, I understand from the Cummins Forum, supply is limited at this time..If you order a truck with the Aisin, you may have to wait a little longer to get it, but you can order them for the 3500 SRW and the 3500 DRW Trucks. It's the AS69RC, 6 speed automatic.
Some aren't in to lift kit's, so that shouldn't really be that big of a deal...On the Cummins forum, some have already added oversize tires and some have added lift kits...Not into that myself and seeing as how I towed my 5er with a 10 and a 12' 3500 long bed and didn't need to do anything to my suspension, with the 13' Ram beefed up front and rear suspension with the new frame, doubt I'll need to add anything to the rear of this one either...5er is at 16,050# with a pin weight of 3300#...not an issue thus far...
Cummins12V98 and Larry....the shortest period of time I EVER owned a vehicle was the 12 Ram, that I have to admit...other than that, I've normally traded every 2 to 3 yrs ONLY since about 2000....Wasn't as able to do it that often before that, I had trucks/cars for quite a few years..With dealers cost and other incentives that came along, for me in the last 13 years, just made it much easier to do . This truck has a Chrysler Max Care extended warranty for 7yrs/100,000 miles zero deductible, (didn't cost me a dime),,,that particular "bonus", makes this truck that much more desirable to be the retirement truck that I had planned on the 13 being in the first place:)
