Did I miss your 1st tow report :H
Not yet Mr. Rick :)....I'll be towing my 5er home this coming Saturday, unless I get snowed in...It's been COLD up here in the mountains of WV, (got down to 13 last night and warmed all the way up to a balmy 37...best is yet to come :).....going to pour the rain, get icy, then snow...all by Thanksgiving....SOOOOOOOOOOO, guess I'll see how the weather is by Saturday and go from there.
Careful there Jim, that black ice under snow is not something anyone hopes for. I'm really use to driving on snow, slush but the black ice is usually what fills up all of our body shops. Heck by my last count the body shops out number our grocery stores 2:1 and we have 4 supermarkets including the super Wally world for a very small population ( 10k or so) . Of course we get plenty of Canadian shoppers for some reason :W
I'm hoping all of this will be out of the area by Thanksgiving day..Temps have been as low as 13' and only up to 41...it's "spitting" an icy mix right now and temp is 32, with a lot of rain predicted and 3-6" of snow....I brought my slides in last night, "just in case" the ice they're predicting actually happened. Still have a lot of room in the camper and everything is fine..."IF" its bad Saturday, I'll wait and hope it's better Sunday..if not, will winterize here and move it when I can.
I've done a lot of driving, even some towing in the snow, but the ice is a whole different story..I won't take any chances:)
