Just bought a 2013 Ram 2500 6.7 cc/lb. Love it! Didn't even consider anything else.
That's just narrow minded and silly.
How so? I think Fords and Chevys are ugly, and the Laramie Longhorn interior is by far my favorite.. I am not one of those close minded "I only drive brand x" truck guys, make something I like, and I'll buy it. Please explain to me how I'm being silly.
Do I have to explain why only considering one brand of truck is not narrow minded? Or maybe that companies and technology are moving forward, and the best product is not always the one that we have tunnel vision on? I don't buy a heavy duty truck based on how pretty it is.
How exactly would you buy another brand, if you "didn't even consider anything else"?
Man, lighten up....there are people on these forums who are brand loyal and would NEVER look at another brand because all the want is the brand they've owned for years and years, regardless of any other information.
All of the big trucks IT could VERY WELL come down to picking out the best looking truck when Ram, Chevy/GM and Ford are ALL capable in every other category.
All I owned for years and years and years were Chevy's....TRIED to go with Ford a couple of times, but they didn't like the color of my money or something....Purchased my first Dodge truck in June of 2010 and "thought" at the time that it was a really good looking truck.
I tried out a 2013 Chevy 3500 dually LTZ and a 2013 Ford 3500 Dually King Range, BOTH before I got the 13...ended up purchasing a 2012 RAm over the Chevy and the Ford...still think it's the best looking truck out there.
I think you would be surprised, with your closed mind-ness, just how many very well may pick out a truck due to it's looks...because, REALLY, ALL THREE BRANDS are MORE THAN CAPABLE to do what we need them to do, so it very well may come down to picking out the best looking truck...
...............and again, there are those that are so brand loyal, that they'll NEVER look at another brand...nothing wrong with that either....it's each individual's money, and we all are going to purchase with our money whatever we want, be it decided on looks, HP, TQ, towing capacity, or the name brand....such is life as we know it and I see nothing wrong with someone purchasing "whatever" truck they want with "THEIR" money......
oh, and I get TONS of comments on how "good looking" my truck is also, so I know I got a good looking truck and I see nothing wrong with that when it meets every spec I need it to make and then some.
