Until the advent of King Twitter!
  • The shareholders want the best return on their investment. The big three have been brought to their knees by off shore vehicles. As battery prices continue to drop (35% in 2016) electric vehicles may present a huge challenge to ICE cars. Witness the 4 billion dollars of Tesla that folks have reserved for a car that is not even in production yet.

You beat me to it. It was actually in discussion last spring 2016 but I'm sure the Donald will take credit for it. LOL. This gets funnier everyday.

  • "FCA's announcement that it would retool factories in Ohio and Michigan to build new Jeep sport utility vehicles, including a pickup truck, and potentially move production of a Ram heavy-duty pickup truck to Michigan from Mexico, also highlighted the auto industry's keen interest in getting relief from tough fuel economy rules enacted by the outgoing Obama administration."

Note "potentially" and "getting relief from tough fuel economy rules" There is a reason behind every corporate decision! So consumers loose and oil companies gain if future fuel economy rules are relaxed.

Hope they are ready for my 2019 RAM LongHorn Dually. It will be 100 year anniversary for Cummins and 30 years for RAM/Cummins relationship.

Naw Trump can't have an effect on manufacturing location!

FISH, want to do a group purchase with me?

Maybe this move will allow them to jump ahead of Ford for having the highest price truck? Powered by Tweeter, everyone will be willing to pay more for "Made in America!"
  • Great news! I'm happy anytime Americans have more opportunity for good employment.
