Around home, we have lots of Rams and Fords. Very few Chevys. At least in HD trucks. I don't pay much attention to the half tons.
But we also passed though areas with a lot of Fords, a few Chevys and almost no Rams. And an area dominated by Chevys, with just a smattering of Fords and Rams.
Average them all out, and they probably line up with sales figures. But any given area may not look representative. I'd guess it's due to the relative quality or competitiveness of the individual dealers in those areas. Or just the regional herd instinct to drive what everyone else is driving...
