I believe IdaD is correct. With today's auto trans and the ability to manually shift gears, TH mode, and EB, why would you want the manual instead out of curiosity? I don't see the benefit of it with the reduced HP and TQ that comes along with it and all the new features mentioned above. Again, just curious.
Personal preference - but you are right with the derating of the power for the manual why bother - except I do a lot of mountain driving and I always liked the control I had with manual.
