I don't want to diminish the good news but some of the increase has to be related to deep discounts.
I looked at an F250 CCSB 6.7 Lariat at $73,000 with Family Pricing. A comparable Ram 2500 CCSB 6.7 Big Horn at $58,000.
Canadian prices.
I would strongly consider the Ram just based on price alone but you gotta luv the Cummins.
Not quite Apples to Apples, at least not the same variety. A Ford Lariat is equal to Ram Laramie, then within that trim level there are many option packages.
Okay. These are pretty well apple to apples.
2019 F250 XLT $69,000 vs $58,000 for the 2019 RAM Big Horn.
The Ram Big Horn is discounted $20,000. MRSP $78,000.
The Ford XLT is discounted $9,000. MRSP $78,000
So yes, they are applying some pretty deep discounts. Regardless of options and your wife likes both and you can get $20,000 off the list vs $9000, which would you choose?
Didn't look at the GMs. Not really interested them.
