  • SRW Ram 3500 with 8'bed is going to be tough to find. I know, because I looked for 5 months to find a used one, and even then, I just got lucky. If he just wants the Tradesman trim, it might be easier to find. If he wants a nice interior with all the extra options, like I did, then good luck with that.
He will just have to search in bigger cities when he gets here. I had no luck with Houston, but who knows by then. Try areas where there are a lot of horse or cattle farmers/ranchers too.
  • I bought my latest Ram from Dave Smith in Kellogg Idaho one of if not largest Ram dealer in the world. For new at that time anyway they beat the pants off anything local for me by $4K. They are supposed to have a large selection of used trucks as well but not sure and no idea on pricing as I didn't look at them but if their used pricing is anything like the new ones be worth looking at
  • I like CarMax as a used car company. Their prices are “no haggle” and I have found them to be really competitive with the out the door prices of most other dealers.

They seem to have slightly inflated prices on the surface but what you see is what you get. No strange add on fees other than applicable taxes and liscencing fees.

    Plus their website rocks.

    Thanks!
