The main problem if you have a US Pickup and want to drive it using a car licence it has to be under10,000lbs. As a result a RAM 1500 Wwould have no payload, a 2500 about 1700lb but a 3500 has a basic light truck licence no restrictions. Although ADR registration takes 6000lb from the GCVWR compared to the US
