It is possible that Tesla is using it for the Cybertruck as basis for it's minimum targeted capability.
And double the price, surely a no-contest value proposition.
When my son was working at Tessla, he said F-150 was reversed engineered for their own pick up truck (maybe for weight forF-150s aluminum body).
