I used to go off-roading with my 460 powered Bronco with highly modified drivetrain, never once did I stop to unload the truck when I was flying through the mud holes or crawling up the sides of a ravine.... I don't recall any body else doing it either.. However I have seen plenty of boxed frames rusting out from mud water and debris collecting in them..
