RAM/Jeep on a roll

Ram sales are up 44% according to TFL

https://www.tfltruck.com/2018/12/rams-november-sales-numbers-soar-sales-report/

Jeep sales up 20% according to USA today

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2018/12/03/december-us-auto-sales/2189608002/

That and the new Jeep Gladiator looks to be a big hit - likely to blunt the release of the Ford ranger a bit.

Time to go fishing in Texas I guess.

    Well... Sorry for your loss.

We’ve owned several Jeeps and we recently bought our 3rd Dodge Ram truck. First was gasoline powered, last 2 Cummins.

It’s been a good ride, FWIW.

I wouldn't take particular note of things like that except.......in this case, that means that the sales of cars is way DOWN too.

The next time the price of gas goes way UP and the economy takes a nosedive.....there will be a lot of people with bad-assed pickup trucks sitting in the driveway because they can't afford to buy gas for it.

And there won't be any cars available because at least 2 large companies intend to stop making them.

    Pogo was right.
For those not old enough to remember: We have met the enemy, and it is US. Apparently there really IS no cure for stupidity.
  • Sadly Jeeps have one of the worst reliability records.
DDs new Jeep has been sitting for nearly two months waiting for a new transmission.
