A manufacturer does not offer ANYTHING unless they think it will sell.

Why would they purposely do anything different? They are in business to make a profit. No sales = no profit.

Regarding LED lighting: I am sorry but I see no practical advantage over the cab mounted rear light that has worked well for years on thousands of truck.
