Range hood vent cover

I just bought a 2016 Puma TT and I can't figure out how to open the vent cover for the range on the outside. It is different than my previous 2 campers. There is two tabs at the bottom but I can't figure out whether to push, pull, twist. I'm afraid I'm going to break it due to my previous luck breaking the flap on the other style of vent. Any advice?

    If it is like this then twist the tabs down and out of the way so that the flap can swing open.

    No this is the kind I'm familiar with. If I could find a picture I'd attach a link. I can't add a picture to my post.

    Ok, I'll try again. Is it like this? If so, unsnap the 2 tabs from the bottom toward you.

    They ship them out with a dab of silicon to seal it shut. I was just cautious because I've replaced several dampers on the previous type. Thanks for the help.
