Kids grow so I would be looking for something to handle your family now and for the next 10 years.
I'm guessing money may be an issue to replace the SUV and get a new trailer so why not look at a good used CrewCab and a toyhauler with bunks in the garage area for the kids. This setup will handle your family for many years.
