My sister had a similar issue with her four kids. She swapped out her vehicle for a full size 3/4 ton van. Lots of room for kids, stuff, bikes, and gives them ability to tow a heavier trailer.
And then I am stuck with a vehicle that gets really lousy gas mileage and is too big 75% of the year.
When the kids are old enough get them a tent.
