I am looking to install a 60 gallon RDS gravity tank in back of my 2015 chevy 3500HD dually. Looking for some answers before purchasing.
1) can you fill your main tank as you drive
2) will it stop filling when main tank full automatically
3) does truck have a problem when fuel gauge always reads full until RDS tank is empty.
4) Do I add a fuel filter and water seperator(any suggestions.)
Thanks for the help

I have a 95 gal RDS with gravity flow now in the 2016 Ram but before it was in a 2011 Chevy.
1. leave the valve open all the time, DIC tells you how much you have used and when gauge starts going down you know the aux is almost empty.
2. yes, never overflows
3. no, works fine, DIC always has correct info
4. up to you, I always felt better using a filter of some type between the aux and main tanks.
Wouldn't be without it, probably the best thing I've ever added.
