Campgrounds near Owensboro KY
My wife, daughter and I are planning to travel in the near future to see family in Owensboro, KY. In the past we stayed with my wife's parents, but they recently downsized and moved into a townhouse....

We stayed the weekend at Diamond Lake Resort. The RV park was very nice. It looked like there was plenty to do during the on season (water slide, bumper boats, paddle boats, go carts, swimming pool, etc). They were very reasonably priced for a full hook up site with access to a heated bath house and laundry facility during the off season. The site was about 20 min from the in-laws house, which is much closer than the 3 hours we live from them.
