I will get lambasted for saying this, but I tow a 36 foot KZ Durango with my 2012 Tundra and it pulls and stops fine. As long as your within specs, I am slightly over on payload, I don't think you will have an issue. I think you will be fine and you should enjoy the trip. BTW, I live in the west and handle the mountain passes fine. It can be done, just be careful.
