First Time Boondocking.....Need a few Questions Answered

We were going to do the conversion where you remove the factory regulator and put a QC nipple on but dang that was gona be like $80 for all that stuff from Calore. Decided to just get a hose for $25 that plugs into the 1# bottle port and goes to a bottle. We have 4 or 5 bottles at the house and can just take one of those with us. The way we can use the RV bottle if I hook it to grille, a 1# bottle or a remote bottle.
