I've been towing a 24 ft TT , normally loaded around 5800lbs through Alberta, B.C., Idaho, Washington, Oregon for the last 4 years with no issues. My 2011 truck has the 5.0 engine. Depending on your engine power , some of the steeper grades will slow you down a bit . As long as you keep an eye on engine and transmission temperatures, and the truck is in good mechanical conditions, you will be fine.
